Candy L. Crouse, 69, of Trout Run passed away Friday, August 28, 2026 at home. She was the loving wife of Dale L. Crouse whom she celebrated 49 years of marriage with this past July.
Born April 16, 1957 in Williamsport she was a daughter of the late Thomas Harper and Evelyn (Brown) Mills.
Growing up Candy traveled the US with her family and saw much of the United States. She settled back down in Williamsport when she married Dale. Together, they owned and operated Marsh Hill Market for many years and built a life filled with family, laughter, and many wonderful memories.
Candy enjoyed being outside, hunting, and fishing. She was an animal lover and a collector of many things including Roosters, Chickens and Moose figurines. She loved Tweety Bird, playing BINGO and taking trips to the casino. She was a life member of the Red Run Rod and Gun Club and the Lycoming Creek Anglers' where she and her husband proudly provided a meeting space at their home near the creek.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a step daughter, Susan Harvey (Mike); grandchildren and great grandchildren; a nephew, Dewayne Harris (Rhonda), and two great nephews, Elliott and Christopher.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant daughter, and two brothers, Chris Harper, and Charlie Yanney.
A graveside service to honor Candy will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 2 at Trout Run Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Candy's name to Lycoming Creek Anglers' Club, 2079 Blair St. Williamsport, PA 17701.
