Catherine M. Bonnell, 88, of White Pine, passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at The Gatehouse.
Born on December 16, 1937 in Jersey Shore, Catherine was the daughter of the late McCullough and Martha E. (Plankenhorn) Larimer.
She was a 1955 graduate of Liberty High School. For 42 years, Catherine was a smiling face at Fry Brother's Mini Mart until her retirement in 2024. She was a faithful member of White Pine Church. Above all else, Catherine loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are four children, Catherine L. Kreger (Stephen) of Morris, Ronald M. Bonnell (Mindy) of Jersey Shore, Susan A. Kreger (Dean) of Morris, and Mary E. Jones (Mickey) of Cogan House; a sister, Clara Lee Mitstifer of Buttonwood; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ted S. Bonnell on July 18, 2014 and a son, Donald I. Bonnell, in 1978 while serving in the Army.
A viewing to honor the life of Catherine will be held 5 to 7 p.m., Monday, September 21 at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St., Williamsport. Private burial in Summit Cemetery, White Pine will be held at the convenience of the family.
