Dorothy A. (Dincher) Steinback, 79, of Williamsport, died Friday, September 4, 2026, at her home. Born July 1, 1947, in Jersey Shore, she was the daughter of the late Frank H. and the late Mary I. (Steppe) Dincher. Dorothy married Darrel J. Steinback on September 18, 1965 and shared 60 years of marriage. Dorothy loved going to craft shows, being outdoors gardening, watching her hummingbirds, and spending time with her family and her cats.
Dorothy is survived by her husband, Darrel J. Steinback; daughter, Kristina M. (Steve) McKee, of Williamsport; sisters, Lucille Schneider, of South Williamsport, Irene Hurd, of Cogan Station; brothers, Edward (Sharon) Dincher, of South Williamsport, John Dincher – brother, of Olathe, KS; grandchildren, Samantha, and Connor Steinback.
In keeping with Dorothy's wishes, a private gathering will take place at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to McCarty~Thomas Funeral Home, Montoursville.
