Edward E. Fink, 79, of Cogan Station, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at home. He is finally reunited with his late wife, Shirley A. Fink, who passed away in 2023.
Born September 12, 1946, in Williamsport, he was a son of the late John E. and Lois M. (Welch) Fink.
Edward spent his career as a carpenter and was a proud United States Air Force veteran. He was a simple man who loved to spend time canning peppers and playing cards with his family and friends. Edward also loved to go deep sea fishing and hunting.
He is survived by four step-children, Robin Cupp, Sherry Hill, June Johnson, and Harold Branning, Jr.; six grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren and two on the way; a sister, Patricia Beaver; and his lifelong friend, Ron Michaels.
In addition to his parents and his wife, Edward was predeceased by a grandson, Kevin Johnson "Mikey;" and two sisters, Christine Hauke and Margaret Livermore.
Funeral services to honor Edward's life will be held privately with burial at Stoltz Cemetery, Cogan Station.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Edward's name to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
