Roberta Ann Schauer, 77, of Williamsport, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2026. She was born on November 23, 1948, in Karthaus, Pennsylvania, to the late Robert and Irene Potter.
Roberta was the beloved wife of Ronald Schauer. She was a loving mother to Paul Gavlock and Michele Alexander, and a cherished grandmother to Haley and Gracie Alexander and Thomas Gavlock. She was also a loving mother-in-law to Jon and a caring stepmother to Ron and Pam.
Roberta was preceded in death by her sister, Pat Hemmis, and by Doug Gavlock.
She retired from Trimtex after many years of dedicated work. Roberta found joy in the simple things in life. She loved cooking and baking, enjoyed playing bingo, and had a special place in her heart for animals and her beloved pets. Most of all, she treasured the time she spent with her family and the people she loved.
Roberta will be remembered for her loving heart, her warmth, her generosity, and the special way she touched the lives of those around her. Her family and friends will carry her memory with them and cherish the many moments they shared with her.
Though she is no longer with us, Roberta's love and legacy will live on through her children, grandchildren, family, and all those who were fortunate enough to know and love her. The memories she created, the kindness she shared, and the love she gave so freely will remain in their hearts forever.
She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished.
