Kenneth H. Bogart, 93, formerly of California Road, Watsontown, passed away Monday, September 21, 2026 at Grandview Nursing and Rehabilitation, Danville.
Born October 9, 1932 on the family farm in Limestone Township, Montour County, he was a son of the late Herman W. and Bernice M. (Hagenbuch) Bogart. On August 31, 1957 he married the former Pauline Temple, and together they have celebrated 69 years of marriage.
Kenneth dedicated forty years as a salesman for Pioneer Seeds while farming the family homestead where he was born and raised. He was a member of PA Young Farmers Association, Danville-Mahoning Masonic Lodge #224, and served as Auditor for Limestone Township.
Kenneth was a lifelong member of Washingtonville Lutheran Church, where he was a council member for many years, and Building Fund Treasurer for 60 years.
In addition to his wife, Pauline, he is survived by a daughter, Barbara Robbins and her husband, Mike, of Turbotville; daughter-in-law, Rose Bogart, of Turbotville; four grandchildren, Andrew Moser, Jeremy (Elise) Moser, Kyle (Tif) Bogart, and Kim (Dan) Winder; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Leona Rathburn.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, and a son, Rodney Bogart, in 2014.
A visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Monday, September 28, 2026 at Brooks Funeral Home and Cremation Service, PC, 207 Broadway Street, Turbotville, where the funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. with Rev. Ken Paulhamus, officiating. Burial will follow in Washingtonville Lutheran Cemetery.
