Lois A. Walter, 78, of Williamsport, passed away on August 27, 2026, at Edenbrook North.
Born on November 18, 1947, in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Brady Walter, Sr., and Marion (Saeman) Walter. Lois worked for more than 30 years as a braid machine operator at Trimtex. Outside of work, Lois found enjoyment in reading, spending time at crafting shows, and browsing yard sales.
Lois is survived by her brother, Barry Walter and his wife Wendy; her sister, Donna Shipton; and several nieces and nephews, all of whom will cherish her memory and the love she shared with them. Along with her parents, Lois was preceded in death by her son, Brian Walter; her brothers, Brady "Danny" Walter, Jr. and Joseph Walter.
A graveside service to honor Lois' life will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, September 3, 2026, at Montoursville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Lois' name to the Hope Enterprises Foundation, 2401 Reach Rd., Williamsport, PA 17701.
