Rev. Theodore C. Van Schoick, 92, of 216 Mt. Pleasant Ave., Jersey Shore, PA finished his earthly sojourn on September 23, 2026. He served the Lord Jesus Christ for many years and now has gone to be with his Lord.
Born in Red Bank, New Jersey on June 25, 1934 he was the son of the late Sidney and Viola (Allen) Van Schoick.
Rev. Van Schoick was a member of the Fairview Nazarene Church, Turbotville, PA and attended faithfully the Nippenose Bible Fellowship, Oval, PA.
In earlier years he enjoyed woodworking, bird watching, flowers and his koi fish pond.
Blanche and Theodore were wed on May 17, 2014 and shared over 12 years of marriage together. Along with his wife he is survived three sons, Barak Van Schoick of Aptos, CA, John Van Schoick of Hudson, FL and Stephen Van Schoick of Huntington, WV; two daughters, Teddi Jean Fix of Lakeland, FL and Jennifer Owens of Muskegon, MI; 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Along with his parents he was predeceased by his first wife, Norma (Terry); second wife, Dorothy (Havens-Bennett); a son, Samuel Van Schoick and presumably by a daughter, Leah Jean Van Schoick.
The funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28, 2026 at 7 p.m. at Nippenose Bible Fellowship, 92 Schoolhouse Rd, Jersey Shore, PA with Pastor Dave McCoy officiating. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2026 at 1 p.m. in Old Tennent Cemetery, Englishtown, NJ, with Pastor Robert Fusco officiating.
