On Oct. 8, 2026, Dolores E. Mowrey, of Montoursville, quietly slipped away from her family and into the embrace of our Savior.

Born Jan. 23, 1937 in South Williamsport. She was the daughter of the late Sibie and Mary (Shaffer) Miller.

Lovingly known by all as "Toot," she is survived by three sons, Earl (Valarie) Mowrey, of Montoursville, Bruce (Pamela) Mowrey, of Montgomery, and David (Donna) Mowrey, of Montoursville; a daughter, Patricia Jordan, of Mifflinburg; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Wilton, of Williamsport; ten grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Earl Mowrey, her constant companion for 68 yrs and business partner for 35 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, six brothers, and a son-in-law.

In keeping with her wishes, the family will hold services at their convenience. Burial will be in Montoursville Cemetery, next to her beloved husband.

The family suggests making memorial contributions in Dolores' name and sending them to Farragut United Methodist Church, 61 PA 864, Montoursville, PA.

Upon her death, we discovered a note she left for her family. "I'll see you all someday. I have always loved all of you." Mom, we've always known.
