Ronnie E. Campbell, 81, of Pennsdale, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, with his family by his side.
Born February 6, 1945, he was a son of the late Warren and Pauline (Meeker) Campbell. On April 24, 1965, he married the former Sandra Hall, who survives.
Ronnie was a 1963 graduate of Hughesville High School and served honorably in the United States Army. He worked several years in plumbing and heating with his brother, Bob, and later retired after 35 years as Maintenance Supervisor at SCI, Muncy.
He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Pennsdale, and more recently attended Hope Community Church, Muncy.
Ronnie had a lifelong passion of horses, both showing them and serving as a farrier. He was also a member of the AQHA.
Ronnie enjoyed time outdoors hunting and fishing and spending time at the East Greenwood Hunting Camp, as well as days trips with friends to go 4-wheeling. He was a member of the American Legion Post 35, Hughesville.
Most importantly, he prioritized time spent with his family. Ronnie cherished his grandchildren and attending all their events. As Ronnie was treating for Leukemia the last few years, his great-grandson, Myles, came into his life at the perfect time, bringing him joy and creating a special bond dear to his heart.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two children, Heather (Campbell) Jones, of Montoursville, and Jennifer Noviello and her husband, Matthew, of Muncy; two sisters, Charlotte Henninger, of FL, and Phyllis Watson, of Watsontown; four grandchildren, Jaylan Jones, Jordan Colburn and her husband, Timothy, Alec Noviello and Nathan Noviello; and two great-grandchildren, Myles and Charlotte Colburn.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by three brothers, Charles, Robert and George Campbell; and one sister, Betty Bubb.
Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to Noon on Friday, October 9 at Hope Community Church, 528 S. Main St. Muncy, where a funeral will be held at Noon with Krishna Vistarakula officiating.
Burial with full military honors will follow in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy.
Contributions in Ronnie's memory may be made to either Leukemia research or the American Red Cross.
