William E. "Bill" Dilker, 81, of Williamsport, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 9, 2026 at The Gatehouse at Divine Providence.
Born on January 29, 1945 in Denver, Colorado, he was the eldest child of Harold and Beatrice Gehr Dilker.
Bill spent his formative years in Montgomery and was a 1963 graduate of Montgomery Area High School. Pursuing his love of scouting and the outdoors, Bill started college at Penn State University planning for a career in forestry. While in college he suffered a debilitating stroke ending his studies.
He is survived by a sister, Jo Anne. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Barbara.
In accordance with his wishes, a cremation has taken place and his ashes will be scattered in a location meaningful to him.
