Janet Adair (Chiao) Callenberger

Janet Adair (Chiao) Callenberger, b. February 1949, had planned to live 120 years, but God evidently had another idea. He/She called Janet to her next adventure earlier. Not being a firm believer in Heaven or Hell or Reincarnation, she preferred to wait and be surprised. (Will let you know if you want).

In this life, Janet held dear her family: Rebecca Chiao (Waleed), Jonathan Chiao (Amanda), grandson Hashimi (her life's light), and her newly born granddaughter Jude, whom she welcomed with overwhelming joy and love. Her friends and cousins here lifted, encouraged, and counseled her for which she is so grateful.

A variety of things were important to Janet. Her farm was her oasis, but travel was exciting. She had stories to tell of Scandinavia, Europe, Asia, Africa, and North, South, and Central Americas. The island of Oahu and the volcanoes of Hawaii in particular spoke to her spirit.

Janet was fascinated by natural phenomena. She was blessed to have witnessed volcanic eruption, the green flash at sunset, the wild wind of hurricanes, a sun dog, the underwater world, circular rainbows more than once, and the majestic beauty of cumulus clouds from above. Seeing a tornado (from a distance) evaded her. She was a finder of four leafed clovers and a lover of thunderstorms.

Issues of human rights, peace, and uplifting the oppressed (especially women) were causes she supported. Janet participated in the Women's March, Million Mom March, the movement to end the Viet Nam war, as well as others.

This essentially free spirit and aged hippie wishes you all continued happiness and lots of purple in this dimension and looks forward to greeting you in the next. Peace and love to you all.
