Nancy C. Bloom, 86, of Williamsport, passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2026 at home.
Born September 2, 1940, in Turbotville, she was a daughter of the late Howard D. and Daisy I. (Arthur) Confer.
Nancy was a 1958 graduate of Montoursville High School and she was a life-long member of Farragut United Methodist Church. Nancy was married to Theodore W. Bloom for 58 years until Ted's passing in 2022. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, in her later years, even while battling cancer, she enjoyed caring for her home and visiting with family, friends, and "the best neighbors anyone could ask for!"
Nancy is survived by her two sons, Christian A. Bloom (Shelley), and Andrew W. Bloom (Candy), four grandchildren, Nathan Bloom, Chelsea Bloom Greenwood, Kate Bloom, and Mike Carnahan; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, George A. Confer and Richard W. Confer; and a sister, Carol V. Confer.
In addition to her parents and husband, Nancy was predeceased by two brothers, A. Lynn Confer and Donald L. Confer as well as four sisters, June M. Green, Lois M. Ball, Joyce E. Campbell, and Fay A. Bassett.
In keeping with Nancy's wishes, no services will be held.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Nancy's name to Farragut United Methodist Church, 61 PA-864, Montoursville, PA 17754.
