Edward A. Vavra
Edward A. Vavra of Williamsport, passed away on Friday, November 7, 2025, at the age of 79. After serving in the United States Air Force from 1968-1972, he continued his education and pursued a doctorate degree in English and Russian Literature at Cornell University. For nearly 42 years, he taught college English at Shenandoah University and Pennsylvania College of Technology and retired in 2017.
