Rev. Robert E. Hamm, SJ, 88, died on 25 October 2025 at Manresa Hall in Merion Station, PA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest V. and Mary L. (Dincher) Hamm, and his sister, Mary Guyette. He is survived by his brother, Thomas (Mary Ann) Hamm, beloved nieces and nephews, and his Jesuit brothers. Father Hamm, a native of Williamsport, PA, entered the Society of Jesus in 1955 and was ordained a priest in 1968. He taught at Saint Joseph’s Prep and at Loyola Blakefield in Baltimore. Carol Kessler DeSilva, 76, of Muncy, passed away Sunday, November 2, 2025, at Geisinger, Muncy. She was born on September 13, 1949, in Danville, the daughter of the late R. Clark and Harriett (Foust) Kessler. On May 19, 1979, she married Andrew G. DeSilva, who predeceased her in 1995. Carol was a graduate of St. Cyril Academy, Danville. She later earned her bachelor’s and master’s from Bucknell University, and a second master’s from Penn State University.
