Summer is underway, and our region's riches of nature are rewarding people of all ages.
The Sun-Gazette's outdoors section reminds us of the variety of options available to our families, friends and neighbors to get out of the house and to learn about and experience our natural world. Our state parks alone offer a plethora of opportunities.
We encourage everyone to learn about these opportunities and to find the ones that fit their own interests. We believe we all will find our lives to be more fulfilling if we don't overlook the majesty that surrounds us all.
