Restore safety

There is a traffic hazard in Jersey Shore.

It is located at the intersection of Oliver and Allegheny streets and the driveway between 1242 and 1300 Allegheny Street.

The speed demons on two and four wheels must think there is a ramp at the top of the bluff at the intersection, so they can do Evil Knievel over a string of cars.

Stop lights would be too expensive and impractical because those people would take it as a challenge to beat the yellow and the red. Stop signs would work, a small inconvenience in order to prevent carnage.

I hope that the borough leaders consider this request in order to preserve safety at this location. Please don’t wait for a fatal accident to occur before doing something.
