Stimulus checks
Wow, people are really mean-spirited these days. Just saw a comment that the elderly and others on Social Security shouldn’t get the stimulus checks because they’ve not lost anything during all of this and it’s just a freebie they don’t deserve.
My understanding is that the money is to help get the economy going by us spending money we otherwise couldn’t. I am grateful we are getting anything, and don’t think we should be put down, because we are also people who have to buy things like everyone else. I have to live very simple to get by. I live on a strict budget!
