Re: Facebook/censorship

2 min read

In response to the letter "Facebook/censorship" in the Nov. 25 edition, I also have been put in Facebook prison more times than I can remember any more.

Whenever I post a disagreement with a post by someone who is a left wing Democrat, I get banned for 30 days because my post was "against their community standards." Quite a few of my Facebook friends can say the same thing.

Apparently the likes as the four members of the Congressional Squad, Hollywood elites, vulgar, foul-mouth people in the music industry and other Democratic political figures can post anything negative about President Trump and/or the Republicans (real Republicans) and that is permitted and with blessings yet.

It's the same thing with Twitter from which I've been banned since October 2016.

I get it, these types of social media forums are very biased and are only for socialist Democrats and other anti-Americans to undermine our republic and they will not tolerate the resistance from the conservatives and patriots of this great nation.

What we need is a social media forum for every one and which is not biased or practices Nazi-type bias toward opposing views.

We also need an independent overseerer for these social media forums.

I don't in any way like more government intrusion in the private sector but in such a case as this and in the name of fairness, I can see it would be justified.
