Nation of Laws

2 min read

I am mentioning here, the criminal and terroristic element coming out of the BLM and antifa crowd. Surely, they know we have laws that apply to all Americans, yet they have, in their outrage, caused riots, attacked police, burned public and private buildings, the likes of in Seattle and Minnesota resulting in physical harm and millions of dollars in property damage. The enormity of these events has become a national issue. Their vile acts and thinking have got to be addressed as they are sent to prison, judges need to include part of this thinking as prisoners are sentenced. They should be required to read, study and digest the Declaration of Independence, Constitution and Bill of Rights. I had to do all of this when I was in the third grade. My teachers at Becht Elementary pushed us until we got it. In fact, we had to memorize the Preamble. This audacious program should be part of the system. Every prisoner should be required to meet minimum requirements prior to being released. They should be the paradigm of the vernerable citizen we would want in society; this includes achievements to be reached by our immigrants.

We call ourselves patriots and Americans; they would do the same. Not read about Stalin and Lennon and the ilk, like they are doing now.

I want neighbors who I can love as scripture says, be friends, partners or both. This business of having a potential enemy as a neighbor is insane. Our Founding Fathers certainly didn't want that for our republic.

I didn't serve nor did my forefathers sacrifice to see the nonsense going on around us today. If I had the power and the resources, I'd stop it in its tracks right now.
