The letter titled "Defending NATO" published Feb. 27 in the Sun-Gazette accuses former President Trump of decimating NATO - Just another liberal lie. If any fair-minded person would watch and listen to the recorded meeting between Trump and the head of NATO, they would realize that Trump was trying to strengthen NATO by pointing out that several of its member nations were not honoring a commitment to fund their military as they had pledged -- thereby weakening the organization. Trump also pointed out that it was counter-productive for NATO to defend Germany from Russia while they were, at the same time, buying natural gas and oil from Russia thereby, providing Putin the financial means to build-up his military.
The lies about President Trump, that were constantly reiterated 24/7 by the "Mainstream Press" led to the election of Joe Biden, in my opinion one of the weakest U.S. presidents in American History, and we're all paying for it - literally, at the pump, the grocery store and internationally. You would think that after a year of the Biden team's destruction of our economy, that liberals would "wake-up and smell the coffee." Unfortunately, as Forest Gump would say "Stupid is as stupid does" and everyone knows "You can't cure Stupid."
