I wonder how many people can remember their childhood. It was a time of innocence. No worries, always protected and loved and secure. Go back in time and see what it feels like to see the world through the eyes of a child once again. As time goes by, children learn what they see and hear.
I remember the first time I swore I was immediately met with a bar of soap in my mouth and I had to bite down on it. To say the least I never swore after that. And when I did something wrong the words I hated to hear were "just wait until your father gets home." Especially in the morning. The fear was worse than the punishment itself. We were taught respect from an early age. We respected our teachers, the police, our elders and our parents.
The TV shows were clean and innocent -- but not today. All you see is sex and violence. On TV shows today when someone is killed, it becomes all high-fives and let's go party. This influences children more than you realize. Back in the day, the news media told the truth. Not today, they'll do anything they can to destroy someone who doesn't believe their propaganda and lies.
Our country has lost its morals. When God is pushed out of a country, it doesn't take long for evil to take over. In California during the riots that took place there was a sign that said "keep God out of California." Prayer was taken out of schools, they're trying to take God out of the pledge of allegience and they also want to take "in God we trust" off of our currency.
Look at all the drugs coming into this country It's estimated that over 300 people a day die from overdoses. Murder, rape, molestation, arson and every other crime has become the norm. Our government is so corrupt. The Department of Justice and the FBI are the corrupt protecting the corrupt.
How many children know who Jesus is and why He died for us? Do they even know why we have a Thanksgiving day, a Christmas and Easter? Do they think they are just days to eat turkey or get presents or candy? How many children have never been inside a church?
Prophesies are coming true. Just read the Book of Revelation, I believe our children and grandchildren will see more prophesies than any other generation before. I pray all the time for the second coming of Christ. Is the end of days coming? Only God knows when.
