There is no place on Earth that is millions of years old; not even Greenland. The reason Greenland had such a variety of plants and trees is because it was part of the original single continent Pangaea that was created by God in 4150 B.C. There were no cold areas on Pangaea until it was separated into the continents in 2494 B.C. during the judgement flood in Noah's day. The animals that are there were buried by the flood. Since there was such great destruction, it is possible that these animals were laid down in layers, one after another. These layers can be seen in the Grand Canyon in America, since these layers were laid down in a matter of months by Noah's flood. Great amounts of sediment and molten rocks flowed throughout the Earth, laying down animals and plants in multiple layers. That is how we got fossils. For a plant or animal to become a fossil, it must be buried quickly. This all occurred in 2494 B.C.
