We need an engaged public

1 min read

As an independent voter I pride myself on listening to all sides of a story before arriving at an opinion. I have some very conservative views as well as very liberal. What I'm asking here is how many people actually have read the different indictments against either Hunter Biden or the Trump machine. If you like to understand what's going on you (I) look to multiple sources of reporting to make an informed decision/judgment. It appears too many folks on both sides do not take the time to listen, ask questions and embrace what is heard whether they like it or not. Can we agree to leave the Department of Justice to do their job, without opinion or judgement until they completed their due diligence. The opinion page and the letters to the editor only tell me what someone believes to be true – whether researched or not. Remember Mr. Franklin said we have a Republic … if we can keep it. This requires individuals to know all the facts regardless of if they like what they hear and learn.
