I agree with the letter "Let's Stop COVID-19 Mania" in the Nov. 6 edition. I have just completed a 25-day trip around the United States by car. In all that travel, Michigan, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, Nevada and even in California I witnessed less people wearing masks or showing concern for COVID infection than I do right here in my home town of Williamsport. I can only remember one person wearing a mask. Even in California. The people to whom the letter was directed should stop their fear mongering. If they want to live in fear about every little incident in life just keep their fears to themselves and go dig a hole to live in.
