When Trump won the Electoral College in 2016, the Democrat apparatus shouted for the end of the Electoral College. But they aren't doing that in 2024. Why? Because Trump won the popular vote. And not only that, Trump also won an absolute majority of the popular vote. What could be more democratic than that?
But Trump's election by a democratic majority is unacceptable to the current Democratic Party. That's because the American people didn't vote the way they were told to vote by Democrats who've been telling Americans for the past four years when, how, and where to be free. For a democratic people to think for themselves and to be free off-prompter is an outrage to the Democratic Party which they will never forget or forgive. But America will once again remember what freedom is. And America in its ample greatness will even forgive its own temporary despotic folly.
