Liberals and progressives, let's not be downcast this holiday season. When we adopt a cause or commit to a noble mission, we should do so for the struggle itself; for we may not live to see the victory.
At the age of 77, tottering toward sunset at a pace Nature decides, I'll continue to confront injustice as best I can. I have no plans to "just get along with" those hell-bent on destroying democracy in America.

Dr. Snyder is an expert in the history of Central and Eastern Europe, the Soviet Union, and the Holocaust. As such, he is a preeminent scholar and critic of past and present iterations of fascism.
