A party’s demise
On the evening of November 5, the Democrats basically got shown where the bear you-know-what in the briar patch. This was despite the fact that they outspent the Republicans by many millions of dollars and that over ninety percent of the mainstream news media strongly supported them—as usual. The media actually destroyed the Democratic Party unwittingly by covering up for them so intensely for so long.
Democrats think they own the moral high ground, but their morality is clearly based on a kind of Marxist materialism. With the indulgence of the unbelievers out there, this puts me in mind of a scriptural passage which seems to describe the behavior of some people in what some believe to be the “last days”: “Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof.”
It is very sad that it took the massive failure of the Biden administration for enough of the American people to finally get their eyes opened up. That may actually be a good thing, for if it would not have been so bad, the country might have continued to simply die a slow death.
Now that they are no longer afraid to say it, many more commentators and conservatives are saying they believe the Biden administration is the worst in American history. We can no longer afford to pull any punches. Many of us knew from the start that his presidency was going to be bad, but never dreamed it would be so horrific. Without enumerating, everything Biden did was bad for the country.
The Democratic Party will not go away. They will likely come back in power again someday, but it is obvious many of them and commentators on the left have not yet learned their lesson. Again, without enumerating, hey keep on doing and saying things that caused them to be rejected by the American people. I was somewhat shocked but not totally surprised the other day to see Biden cursing reporters. What a terribly bitter man! Apparently, that is how he is leaving the White House.
I have heard many say that January 20 could not possibly come too soon. I agree. On that day, President Trump will put our badly needed Common Sense Revolution into effect. I encourage all good Americans to pray for the new administration and the new Congress, and to ask the Almighty to always guide them.
