I have noted that there seems to be a situation where politicians are lying to the American Electorate. But, are all lies created equal? Is a politician who consistently lies to us worse than a politician who occasionally lies to us. What about the severity of the lie? Is a lie about the outcome of an election (stolen) worse than lying about the granting of a pardon (we all knew he was going to pardon his son).
They say a lie can travel half way around the world before the truth has its boots on! Now the latest lie to surface about the Republican informant who lied to the FBI about bribes being paid to Joe and Hunter Biden by the Ukrainian Gas Co., Burisma. Russian informant Alexander Smirnov has just been convicted of this lie which Republican House Members have been using as a pretext to try to impeach Joseph R. Biden, the sitting President of the U.S. Fox News and Representative James Comer have been touting this lie for years.
Now that it has been determined by the courts to be a lie, where are the apologies. I did see on FOX news that Brett Baier mentioned it for 30 seconds, but never attributed the lie to the Republicans or Fox News. It has become a sad situation in this country where we expect the Republicans to lie, and if the Democrats lie, the world is coming to an end.
