The fires in LA, the flooding of North Carolina, killer temperatures across the southwestern states; everyone is talking about these things as "The New Normal." I hate to say this but it's far worse than that. This is our "New Abnormal." In other words, the climatic conditions that have allowed humanity to thrive and spread across the globe are rapidly and radically being altered for the worse thanks to our continuing love affair with fossil fuel. And, it's only just begun.
I suppose folks living in Pennsylvania will fare better than costal residents, for a while, at least. The only escape from climate change would be underground. Anyway, it's not about us. Our children and their children will bear the brunt.
So let's just keep electing climate deniers to high office. After all, what ever it is, Trump will fix it! Let's just keep this party going, baby! Rock on!
