November 5th 2024 was the day that wokeness essentially died. The funeral was held on January 20th, 2025, with little sadness for the loss. New rules and regulations will replace the nonsense that prevailed for the last three- and one-half years. Thank God, for without His Mercy and Blessing, the status quo would be our demise as a nation.
It will be refreshing to be able to speak out freely and without fear of legal reprisal otherwise known as "Lawfare." Perhaps we shall also feel free to express our opinions regarding our favorite foods and leisurely past times. One could sit down to Aunt Jemima Pancakes, slathered with Land 'O Lakes butter taken from a container that portrayed a young Native American woman on the label and covered in Aunt Jemima syrup for breakfast. Later in the day at lunch Uncle Ben's rice could once again be enjoyed without guilt pangs of racist accusations, followed by a desert of Eskimo Pies, while the radio played a Dixie Chicks song (the group that ceded its name to the woke crowd and lost their prominence).
Later in the day, perhaps one could tune in to a football game to watch the Washington Redskins take the field, or perhaps a college team called the Crusaders. In the spring season one could catch a baseball game with the Cleveland Indians. These are the things Americans did before without issues, and hopefully, can once again happen without claims of racism, homophobia, or other nonsensical unsubstantiated claims.
America has become weak; our children are coddled by over protection. How sad! Growing up, we had no bike helmets, played tackle football on dirt lots, rode sleds down deep slopes without fear, and if we were fortunate enough to have a family automobile, there were no seatbelts to restrain us in the event of an accident. But, despite these "pitfalls" we managed to make it to adulthood anyway. Kids today, who knows? The future of the United States is as dismal looking as it can ever be.
Our young people, you know, the ones who represent our future leaders; have their nose stuck in an electronic device oblivious and unaware of the world around them. When, in fact, if they actually do put down their device and partake in an extracurricular activity, they are coddled to the point of ridiculousness; things such as participation trophies are awarded rather than allowing them to learn that losing is acceptable if one puts forth the best effort possible. Phooey to that. One has to learn to win or lose with honor and dignity. If one puts his best effort in but still loses, then real sportsmanship means that congratulations to the victor is due. Of course, when you win, it is also important to act like you have been there before and not overreact with ridiculous antics and shoving it in the face of the losing team. Growing up without facing loss or down fall creates individuals who, if placed in a position of authority, would not be able to make sensible decisions to the detriment of all who rely on the leadership of this individual.
There have been many complaints regarding cell phones being disallowed in the schools. When I went to school we had no cell phones and we got along just fine. Our education system is lacking and is falling behind in the world in sciences and mathematics for starters. However, one area that would benefit from these game playing wonders is the military. Drone pilots are becoming a necessary job for our military, but due to the liberalization and brainwashing of our youth, military volunteers are dwindling and that is troublesome and problematic for the future of our country's existence.
