With the support of elected MAGA officials and his base, President Elon Reeve Musk, Titular Head of Government, Donald J Trump and their team of billionaires, ideologues and thugs have launched a full blown attack on American system of government and a hostile takeover of the nation. They are on their way to changing our country from a democratic Republic, a government of all the people, into a an oligarchy, a government of a few of the people…in this case the richest people. Concerned Americans from all over the country and the political spectrum are worrying out loud: “Where are the Democrats? What are they doing to thwart this coup in the making?? Obviously they are all saying, , not nearly enough.

The editor of Mother Jones, David Corn has spelled out what they should be doing:

“They should have a war room that operates 24/7 to generate and voice loud and smart opposition to the Trump-Musk onslaught. They need to be coordinating messaging and running a nonstop fire hose of social media. A never-ending string of fiery speeches on the House and Senate floor, obstructionist tactics, the exploitation of every possible forum and platform. Their best and most media-savvy members should be denouncing and decrying on a daily basis. Instead of licking wounds, Democrats ought to be showing some fight, conveying the perilous reality of the moment and presenting themselves as a fierce and united bulwark against this treacherous attack. It’s not about moving to the left or to the right. They need to rush to the barricades.”
