A glimmer of hope

1 min read

As I drove through Market Square on June 14, I felt a glimmer of hope as I saw a large group of people gathered there. If that many people could be there to protest on a rainy Saturday in a heavily Republican county, we might still have a chance.

Thanks to all of the people who stood in the rain to represent not just themselves but also all of us unable to be there. And an extra thanks to the folks who cared enough to organize the event. This rally will most likely not be the last one because more and more people are deciding to stand up and speak out for democracy and the rule of law as established by the framers of the Constitution.
