Our street Vallamont Lane needs repair!!! 12 years or longer the Williamsport Water Co. put new lines going up Williams Road. As they were working on this project, they used all kinds of heavy equipment like front loaders, dump tricks, etc. and using the lane as a thruway. With the heavy load of equipment, it put wear and tear on this road. After they finished, they said that they would fix the road. Here we are in 2025, and nothing has been done! My neighbors and I had called Williamsport Streets and Parks about the issue, and they said that they would put us on the list, or it was too late in the season to do anything. As I was driving last year, I had noticed that the city was paving allies around the area.

So, I reached out to City Hall to talk to the mayor about this, and he did return my call. I had explained to him what the issue was, and he left me under the impression that someone would be up to access the situation. it has been about 2 months and have not heard anything, so I called him on his personal cell phone and left a lengthy message last week and NO RESPONSE from him!!!! The neighborhood here uses this road, and we are taxpayers and tired of hitting the bottom of our cars! Someone needs to take charge and FIX MY ROAD!!
