The year in review

Trump promised radical change in his second term, and that is what we got. Let’s take a look:

He ruined the White House, making the inside look like a cheap bordello, and razing the East Wing to build an elaborate ball room for the billionaires who donated towards it in return for favors. He pardoned monsters and cheated us taxpayers out of billions of dollars in restitution we were owed. He said he would only deport criminals. He covered up pedophilia. He committed war crimes. He enabled genocide. He savaged federal agencies. He cut off student loan forgiveness for public service employees. He destroyed small farms. His tariffs constituted the largest tax increase on Americans in decades. He caused 17 million American citizens to lose their health insurance, and 7 million to pay 2 and 3 times higher monthly premiums. He covered up his medical issues. He spread racist disinformation. His tax cuts were all for the rich.

He put his own personal lawyers atop the DOJ and FBI, turning them into arms of his poitical campaign. He cut funding intended to combat child sex trafficking, foreign election interference, and corporate cyberattacks.

Yes, Trump has made radical change, and this is just a partial list. And this is just year one. The current House and Senate is not going to do anything to stop more radical changes such as these. Hopefully by years end we will have a much different Congress. That is up to us.
