Most Greenlanders are descendants of Alaskan stock who migrated to Greenland a thousand years ago. In other words, Greenlanders are Native Americans or, as they’re now called, Inuits. And so what do their Danish masters think of these Native Americans? When Greenlanders visit Denmark, Danes scowl at them and sneeringly tell them to go home. These Nordic Europeans obviously don’t like Native Americans in “their” country. Meanwhile America has great fondness for Alaskans of all kinds. Therefore the Greenlanders should sell Greenland to America in the same way Russia sold Alaska to America. That was the best thing that ever happened to Alaska, and under Trump the best could now happen to Greenland, too.

Will Denmark allow it? No. But Denmark won’t have any say in the matter — if the Greenlanders vote to secede from their haughty colonial overlord just like Americans seceded 250 years ago from their imperious colonial master. Then the liberated Greenlanders, with a second vote of freedom, can join the liberty lovers of the greatest immigrant country in world history: America. Welcome, Greenland! Your personal freedom and your historic enrichment are just a ballot box away.
