Daylight savings time
It is time to stop the changing of time back and forward and back and forward twice a year. It no longer makes any sense and causes difficulty for people of all ages to adjust to the change.
Teachers will attest to the fact that students struggle during the week after the Spring change.
We have four months of standard time – one third of the year – and eight months of daylight saving time – two thirds of the year. Now that we’re on daylight saving time, let’s make it permanent. The extra hour of light allows time for activities after work and school and for family activities in the evening.
Please contact your legislator and ask that daylight saving time be made permanent.
