The man who claims to be the “Peace President” is running a bizarre campaign to capture the Nobel Peace Prize. He is responsible for the killing of over 163 people by ordering the sinking of over 40 boats in the Caribbean and eastern Pacific that he claims, without evidence, were smuggling drugs. He ordered the invasion of a sovereign nation to kidnap of the leader of Venezuela. The eight wars he claims to have ended are still causing death and destruction in spite of his so-called ceasefires. Ukraine and Gaza are still suffering because ceasefires are NOT peace treaties, so the attacks, mayhem, wounding, killing, and destruction continue!

We are now in the second month of an illegal, unprovoked Israeli/American war on Iran that was begun in the middle of ACTIVE peace negotiations! No coalition building or consultation with Congress or allies and no logical, consistent explanation for why we are embroiled in another foreign quagmire before embarking on this humungous mistake. And this disaster is from the man who campaigned by condemning former presidents for foreign entanglements and promising to avoid them as he puts America first by undoing the Constitution and the small steps of progress we’ve made toward achieving the freedom, equality, and justice for all the Constitution aspires to.

Now he is surprised, shocked and angry that our NATO allies are not jumping at the chance to rescue him from his gigantic miscalculation. He doesn’t seem to understand that NATO is a defensive agreement with no obligation to support a member that, on the leader’s whim, decides to embark on an offensive ‘excursion,’ attacking another nation without provocation.

NATO, through Article 5, promises to come to a member’s defense when that member is attacked. The ONLY time that Article has ever been activated was when our NATO allies rallied around us after 9/11! And yet clueless man in the White House, ranting like a grade school bully, insults, name-calls and berates our NATO partners for years, claiming they’ve been ‘using us for years.’ With that kind of inflammatory rhetoric, why would they have any reason to support, believe, or trust him and join him in his illegal war?

His two objectives seem to be keep himself the center of attention and sow chaos across the world. He threatens to bomb Iran back to the Stone Age, and he’s ‘not worried about committing war crimes’ to do it. He will gladly ruin America’s reputation as a country of laws, fairness, and honesty, and destroy what’s left of civilization, while blaming others and sending the whole world back to the Stone Age!
