Welcome Santa Claus
I’m writing this letter not only to the editor but the people of Muncy Township. It looks like you’re finally going to get approval to move ahead with the Bass Pro Shop other white was such a hard Endeavor is beyond me and why anybody in their right mind would want to block this development is beyond bizarre you have the opportunity to take an empty store namely the Best Buy building and recycle it into probably the best new retail store to come to this area in many many years.
Bass Pro is a destination store because of what it provides especially in today’s era where most stores are abandoning bricks and mortar for the internet this store will provide a unique experience that will enable Outdoors people and those willing and wanting to explore the outdoors all the equipment imaginable to do so it’s not environmentalist to keep our environment clean and healthy it’s those that like to get out into it and enjoy it the sportsmen are the ultimate environmentalists they costly rally for wildlife protections area cleanliness stream healthiness and all the other efforts the keep our Outdoors pristine and available to all if you can’t see what this store actually brings in this area then do some work because the evidence is there
And I can tell you community blight starts with empty building you have an opportunity here to save one building recycle it into something meaningful and relevant
And I don’t want to be self-serving here but the cevelopers known as FamVest are a terrific group that operate with the highest level of integrity Fair dealing and generally just wonderful to work with
I happen to be the CEO and owner of a local contracting company there’s had some good fortune to work with FamVest for quite a few years down please folks are trying to bring to your area development that is going to enhance your property values Preserve your environment because they are saving and repurposing empty buildings which otherwise would just decay the rust products and other associated waste products from the band and buildings with leech into your streams and just totally turn your little beautiful town into misery.
Now that apparently you have the biggest obstacle to a good future out of your way it’s time to embrace these developers and their projects and say thank you for what they’re trying to do for your area I know I’ve been around the East Coast building for almost 50 years.
The term brownfields was not some random term it was a very Vivid description of what was taking place you have an opportunity to keep that word out of your vocabulary and you have an opportunity to welcome a gift that is basically Santa Claus.
