Weasel words
Trump’s political genius has long been to promise people that success was just around the corner. And those same folks never realize the corner rarely comes.
I like to call his promises, “Weasel Words”. For example:
“largely negotiated”
“proceeding nicely”
“largely agreed to”
“gas prices will come down a lot”
“We perhaps have the makings of a deal here”
“In a few weeks”
“within reach”
“Moving Along Well”
It might be interesting to keep a tally of these weasel words and see which ones are Trump’s favorite!
