It amazes me that there are still politicians and common folk, that still will not back down from their support of our most awful President ever. These republican congressman, and not all of them, refuse to call him out on even the obviously stupid, demeaning, self serving, and dangerous things this man does.
In 1956, former president JFK released a book about this called Profiles in Courage. It examined eight US senators throughout US history, that stood up to their party and constituents in order to do the RIGHT thing for our country. These decisions by them came at great political cost, but they were fearless and stood up to bad ideas. I think it's time someone wrote a book about today's politicians that are so afraid of either losing, or feeling his wrath upon them. It should be called Profiles in Cowardice, but will include many more than eight congressman!
To think that they would allow a news host to be defense secretary, his former defense attorney as attorney general, a former hedge fund manager as treasury secretary, not to mention other unqualified folks such as Noem, Bondi, and others.
And this babyish action involving the Kennedy Center, the potential arch, and renaming things at his whim.
Back when I was in school, we remembered the names of the Great Lakes with the acronym HOMES. Now I guess we'll have to change that to SHAME.
What about tariff money being returned, but not to us consumers. What about stopping this war? Man was Trump hoodwinked on that one by Netanyahu.
NOW is the time to stop this administration from doing further damage by voting for that change in the mid terms- I'm not saying that will be perfect change, but at least we can stop this madness until 2028.
