The enemy within

I have become “the enemy within,” an enemy of the people—at least according to Donald J. Trump, self-anointed Lord Protector of what is American. Proof of my guilt? My actions don’t convict me. In my youth, I served with honor and some distinction in the U.S. Army. I went where ordered, including into harm’s way, relying on the courage of fellow soldiers, our allies, and a measure of luck to survive. If not my actions, then what? My beliefs, it seems. Parking narcissism

I agree it’s nice to park in front of your house, and it’s an unspoken thing neighbors that get along usually respect. But for those very low IQ controlling neighbors who have narcissistic symptoms when it comes to parking, they actually think the spot in front of their house on the public street belongs to them, and if you dare get close to it or briefly park in it, they go insane. A winning issue

It seems that killing babies is a winning issue in American elections these days. The three Supreme Court justices up for retention in Pennsylvania join in ads boldly stating they will continue to protect the right of women to kill their babies (even though judges are supposed to be impartial and usually are in promoting themselves in elections.) The fliers of the opposition supporting a “no” vote on retention conspicuously avoid the abortion issues, referring to other flawed positions of the current judges. Finding courage

The U.S. House of Representatives is just one signature away from a vote to release the Epstein files. So far, 217 members have signed the petition that would force Speaker Mike Johnson to bring the bill to the floor. Only 218 are required. Let’s remember what is at stake. The Department of Justice has admitted that it holds more than 10,000 illegal images and videos of child sexual abuse linked to the Epstein investigation and that hundreds of victims have been identified. AI centers

We need to prevent AI data centers from accessing public electricity and water in Pennsylvania. To operate in Pennsylvania, AI data centers must be compelled to build their own power plants separate from the public grid, and compelled to provide their own water source separate from public water. Anything less is robbery from the public. It’s possible that there may be state legislation to void local zoning codes if they interfere with AI. An inspiring story

What a ray of sunshine it was to pick up a Sunday newspaper and read this article about this young lad Owen Dailey from Jersey Shore. Wow, what an inspiring story. That is what this world needs his attitude on life. But when he said he didn’t want any payment because his only payment was seeing everybody with smiles on their faces and being happy.
