The Nutcracker show which was performed on December 6th and 7th by the students of Saint John’s School of the Arts 1157 Market Street, Williamsport at the Journey Bank Community Arts Center was breathtaking. What a beautiful reminder of the holiday season that is front and center in our thoughts. Donald Trump made hay out of President Biden’s pardon of his son, Hunter. In my opinion, he had every right to raise questions. Biden’s motivation was understandable—he acted as a father—but a motive isn’t an excuse. Setting that aside, we’re left with a more troubling pattern: Trump’s unprecedented number of pardons and commutations granted to politically connected, indicted, or convicted figures. ‘Merry Christmas’

I hear people saying “merry Christmas” where ever I go. I know it’s December and I searched my calendar. BUT I do not see her name anywhere. I do see a date for December 25; the notation is for the birth of Jesus. Is this what you find on your calendar? Maybe just maybe we need another greeting. First Amendment under attack

The Justice Department, under the President’s orders, is investigating all groups they view as extremist, particularly what they call Antifa. They continue to confuse an ideology with a physical group. “Antifa” stands for antifascist, it is not an organization. The administration therefore must be openly saying they are pro-fascist.
