Do you remember the PBS shows your kids watched or the ones you yourself enjoyed? When my son was growing up, PBS shows were his favorites – Mr. Rogers Neighborhood, Sesame Street, Captain Kangaroo, and later The Electric Company. My husband and I never missed Wall Street Week with Louis Rukeyser or The PBS News Hour. We watched Julia Childs and Masterpiece Theater classics like “I Claudius” and “Brideshead Revisited,”and Mystery’s Hercule Poirot, Miss Marple, and Sherlock Holmes as well. An unusual state

Pennsylvania is an unusual state in the way legislation is passed. The politicians can introduce a bill, it can be heard in a day or two, and it can pass out of committee immediately to be put up for a vote. It’s not a very transparent process.
