On August 17, 2022, Williamsport opened their arms as thousands of players and fans descended on their community for the Little League World Series. A small and tight-knit community of just a little over 27,000 people, you manage to put on the greatest baseball event in all of America, year after year. And while we as fans focused on our players and their wins, the residents of Williamsport worked tirelessly to provide us with the greatest hospitality.
Coming from Hawaii, I never thought I would ever experience the Aloha Spirit in any other community but my own. However, Williamsport has proven me wrong two years in a row. Words cannot express how grateful we are for all those who graciously opened their hearts, their homes, their time, and their wallets to help us create everlasting memories and friendships along our Little League World Series journey.
With all that is going on in the world today, it's reassuring to know that there are still angels who live among us. Thank you to all the residents of Williamsport and its surround areas, as well as each Little League Volunteer who selflessly gave of their time and effort. Please know that you have made an incredible impact for so many of our players and families. Thank you for your hospitality!
