LOS ANGELES — After the Philadelphia Eagles missing a late field goal with 1:08 remaining to put the game out of reach, the Los Angeles Rams made it interesting with no timeouts remaining. Jared Goff helped orchestrate a quick drive to get to the Eagles’ 17 yard line. With just four seconds left, Goff’s pass to Josh Reynolds sailed just high and gave the Eagles an exciting 30-23 win on Sunday night in Los Angeles.
The win helped keep the defending Super Bowl champions playoff hopes alive, putting the Eagles within half a game of the last wild card spot with two weeks remaining.
Goff threw for 339 yards for the Rams and Todd Gurley had two rushing touchdowns.
With Carson Wentz out with a back injury, Nick Foles stepped in for the Eagles and played well, throwing for 270 yards. Wendell Smallwood rushed for just 48 yards for the Eagles, but did score twice.
The Eagles could still win the NFC East after Dallas lost earlier in the day. The Eagles need to win their final two games and the Cowboys must lose their final two
