Eight games scheduled for Friday at LLWS due to weather

Due to the impact of prolonged inclement weather in South Williamsport, Little League International made the decision after consulting with their ground crews to postpone all of Thursday's games to Friday.

There will be eight games played on Friday, beginning at 9 a.m.

The first two games at 9 a.m. (an International and United States game) won't be broadcast nationally.

At 9 a.m., Sydney, Australia will play Tijuana, Mexico at Volunteer Stadium while Hamilton, Ohio faces Henderson Nevada at Lamade Stadium.

At noon, Tokyo, Japan plays against Willemstad, Curacao at Volunteer Stadium and at Lamade Stadium, Bonita, California will compete against Davenport, Iowa.

Leon, Nicaragua plays a winners' bracket matchup against Chiriqui, Panama at 3 p.m. at Volunteer Stadium. Also at 3 p.m., Tacoma, Washington faces Boerne, Texas at Lamade Stadium.

In the two nightcaps, Seoul, South Korea plays a winners' bracket game against Brno, Czechia of the Europe and Africa Region at Volunteer Stadium. At Lamade Stadium, West Chester, Pennsylvania and Bayonne, New Jersey play at 7 p.m.
