Win or lose, Canada players and coaches keep having fun at LLWS

After Monday's press conference wrapped up, Canada manager Brad Dorwart had his players stay at the table for a photo together.
Then he suggested they all do a joke photo where they look distraught together.
That small moment perfectly sums up the looseness and fun the kids from Vancouver, British Columbia and the coaches are having while in South Williamsport at the Little League World Series. There's a tournament going on with games to play, but Little Mountain Little League is just enjoying the ride so far each day.
"You can definitely tell they're really good friends. These guys are folks that have been hanging out and playing these types o games together since they were 8, and I've known them before that," Dorwart said. "It's the same support staff and we have fun. As I said before, it's a big thing to make family time and have that down time."
Prior to their game on Monday, Dorwart and the Little Mountain Little Leaguers from Vancouver went on a walk in South Williamsport. That's when they bumped into for MLB standout and former Little League World Series champion Todd Frazier at Dunkin Donuts.
"We met Todd Frazier at Dunkin Donuts and our other two cames came in later to have some words of wisdom with (players)," Dorwart said. "It's a very big supportive community and that's what helps set themselves up for success."
After a first-round loss to Seoul, South Korea bya 7-0 margin at Volunteer Stadium, the Canada Regional champions have rattled off back-to-back wins, first beating Australia and then Panama to keep its summer going.
Canada's three players who were in Monday's press conference -- Connor Ross, Cruz Krpan and Jacob Massel -- were all asked about what makes this team so unique compared to some past teams.
Their response?
"We're just like that," Krpan said with a laugh.
Watch during games, and you'll see Canada's players laughing and having fun. When Dorwart goes to the mound, he's always upbeat and positive with his team.
Yes, Canada and its fans want to keep winning and advancing at the Little League World Series, but at the end of the day, the 11- and 12-year-old kids on the roster are doing what they do best: being kids and having fun.
"Being with your best friends and playing at the Little League World Series (is awesome). Getting to know other countries and states, it's just fun learning with how it is on TV and doing all these interviews," Ross said.
"We're just here to have fun and we're here to win games," Massel. "What's more fun than getting to play baseball with all your best buds? That's really what helps us on the field."
