New golf pro at White Deer

White Deer Golf Course has recently announced the hiring of Mike Kaminskas as its new general manager and head golf professional. Kaminskas has an extensive golf background having previously worked at the Severna Park Golf Center (Severna Park, Md.), the Tournament Player’s Club at Avenel in Potomac, Md., Eisenhower Golf Course (Crownsville, Md.), Pine Crest Country Club (Montgomeryville), Talbot Country Club (Easton, Md.), and most recently Hog Neck Golf Course (Easton, Md.). He received a bachelor’s degree in Turf and Urban Management from the University of Maryland College Park in 1991. Mike attained his full Class A membership with the PGA of America in 1996.

Kaminskas will oversee the entire operation. He will continue to provide full service club repairs and offer both individual and group lessons.

Kaminskas is an accomplished player in the Mid-Atlantic section of the PGA of America having won several state tournaments and Pro-Ams.

White Deer is a 45-hole public golf complex with two 18-hole golf courses and a 9-hole par-3 course.
