In the girls basketball District 4 Class A quarterfinals, Sullivan County won in a rout over Galeton, 73-30, on Thursday. Jessica King posted a 13-point, 13-rebound double-double and Bethany Beinlich added 16 points. Mykenzie Malacusky scored 13.

Lydia Albert (11 points) was the only Montoursville player to reach double figures as the Warriors lost on the road to Shamokin, 28-25, in the District 4 Class AAAA quarterfinals.

Jersey Shore defeated Athens, 50-23, in the District 4 Class AAAA quarterfinals. Hannah Kauffman led the Bulldogs with 17 points.

• Wellsboro defeated Hughesville in the District 4 Class AAA quarterfinals in boys basketball, 58-27. Brandyn Tuttle posted an 11-point, 10-rebound double-double.

Clayton Poust led Hughesville with 13.

Noah Rymsza scored 19 points and Dylan Wilt added 15 points and 12 rebounds, but it wasn’t enough as Muncy fell to Northeast Bradford, 54-40, in the District 4 Class AA quarterfinals.

St. John Neumann defeated Benton, 81-30, in the District 4 Class A quarterfinals. David Hill led the offense with 18 points, Malakai Parlante and Jaiden Cioffi had 13 points each.
